If you are interested in beautiful birds, purple martin will definitely appeal you. In my view, it’s the most beautiful bird in United States.
The most fascinating thing for me is their color. You may wonder why I am praising this bird for its color. There are so many birds exhibiting beautiful color-mix. Parrots are specifically known for their colors. Still I would say nature has really made them unique in this aspect.
This bird doesn’t show a color-mix like parrots. They are majorly purple-colored birds. But due to different light conditions, they show variations in their color. They are seen in different shades ranging from dark blue to bright purple.
The purple color shines in sunlight which is a delight for viewers.
The way purple martin flies is capable to capture our heart. They fly high and sporadically for they have to catch insects. Sometimes when flying high, they are often seen falling towards the birdhouse like a bullet. As soon as they come closer, they dive inside. Such are the tricks of this agile bird.
They are very social and friendly with human beings. In fact they love people.

Everybody likes beautiful birds! Children are always more fascinated by beautiful, vivid colors of birds. Usually, kids are considered to be impatient. But if you have a charming bird at home, I bet; your younger one will get enough patience to watch the bird for hours!

LoveBird : Lovebirds are one of the smallest species of parrot. They are bundle of cheer, fun and joy. Kids will really enjoy their company because lovebird is fond of playing for hours. And you know…they also like to pull buttons off shirts !
Cockatiels: If you have elder children, cockatiels are better choice for you. This bird can whistle, does funny activities, and can talk also. So, if your child has time to interact with bird, it will be a delight having Cockatiel at home.
